The two-day conference presents current research from scientists and the latest bioinformatics tools using Next Generation Sequencing.  Topics will include new applications, data management and evaluation, sequence assembly and transcriptome analysis. Rapidly changing sequencing technologies will be explored with a review of the latest technical advances.  Research and tools from major Next Generation Sequencing platforms will be presented at this meeting.

The Programme is available here (uploaded 14 August).

This year there will be a session focussing on the bioinformatics component of Next Generation Sequencing. Short abstracts and contact details for those speaking in this session are listed here.

There will be time over both days for general discussion, problem solving and interaction with representatives of New Zealand sequencing services.

Workshops

In 2012 we will be running two Workshops associated with the Conference. A half-day workshop for beginners to the field of Next Generation Sequencing will run on Monday 20 August 1pm to 5pm.
